Val Lougheed, President of Northern Lights Canada, will be working in collaboration with Dr. Tom Stelfox of the University of Calgary and other collaborators, investigators, and partners on a project entitled “Developing a Patient and Family-Centered Approach for Measuring the Quality of Trauma Care”. The project is the result of a submission to the Partnerships in Health System Improvement competition, and will to be a partnership with: • Alberta Innovates Health Solutions • Trauma Association of Canada • Canadian Institute for Health Information • Brain Injury Association of Canada • Ontario Neurotrauma Foundation • Alberta Health Services. The research project is being funded by The Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), www.cihr-irsc.gc.ca.
