Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® Programs

Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI®) is the most widely used personality test in the world and helps people to work more effectively with others through personal awareness. It is easy to use and cost effective.

Training Content

  • identify personality type, learning styles, and decision-making strategies

  • identify assets and blind spots of teams and team members

Basic Introductory Session (Half-day workshop)

Interactive activities are used to provide a basic overview of MBTI® personality type theory. All participants are given the opportunity to complete the MBTI® assessment to discover their own personality type.  Each participant leaves with a full description of their type and an overview of all of types.

Basic Introductory Session (One-day workshop)

Interactive activities are used to provide a more in-depth overview of MBTI® personality type theory, including an overview of the eight mental functions and descriptions of the four temperaments. This helps participants relate to the unique differences of each type and recognize how and why we find it easier to relate to some and not others. All participants are given the opportunity to complete the MBTI® assessment to discover their own personality type.

Each participant leaves with a full description of their type and an overview of all of the types.

Team Building (One-day workshop if you have already completed the MBTI® assessment and introductory session or two-day workshop without the completed assessment)

The MBTI® tool is used to support team dynamics and give team members an opportunity to learn more about themselves and their teammates. Each team building session is tailored to meet unique team needs and can be designed to focus specifically on communications, team culture, leadership, change, problem solving, or stress.

Communication (Half-day workshop if you already completed the MBTI® assessment and introductory session or one-day workshop without the completed assessment)

Gain a better understanding of different communication styles and how to adjust a style to improve overall communication.

Conflict Resolution (One-day workshop if you already completed the MBTI® assessment and introductory session and two-day workshop without the completed assessment)

Explore how each of the 16 MBTI® personality types experience and respond to conflict. This session provides an opportunity to identify individual conflict styles and blind spots in the conflict-management process. Participants learn an effective conflict-management model that can be used in the workplace and at home.
 

Stress (One-day workshop if you have already completed the MBTI® assessment and Introductory session or two-day workshop without completed assessment)

Explore how each of the 16 MBTI® personality types experiences stress and what happens when they are in "the grip". Discover what behaviours and triggers take us there and what energizers help us regain our ground.
