I first attended one of Crystal's workshops at the annual Nova Scotia Career Development Association conference in 2009 and since then have always looked for her name in the program of career conferences knowing that what ever the topic, I would thoroughly enjoy the hour or so spent in her company.  Crystal provides fun, inspiring ways to interact with our clients in a new way to help increase self awareness.

Crystal's Inprov workshop stretches people out of their comfort zones in a safe, fun, entertaining way.  As career practitioners, we need opportunities like this to laugh and connect in a different way.

Thankfully some Nova Scotians attending career conferences in Ontario attended Crystal's workshops and invited her to come to Nova Scotia where she has become a favorite presenter to many.

The improv session was a fun, laughter-filled way to end the day and connect with others. I left with activity ideas that I can implement as ice breakers in my future workshops.

Crystal learned the value of meaningful experiences when she produced radio documentaries in Ottawa.  She honed her ear and her love of music and movement during her experiences as an on-air host and producer. When she left journalism, she carried the lessons of radio with her. She took her ability to make connections and communicate clearly with her into a training career that has included travelling and training in remote locations, managing an airline training department and choosing to deliver training that is meaningful, interactive, and often playful.
