Yes. Contact us at 1-800-361-4642 or fill our our online contact form.

Is Northern Lights Canada an employment agency? Can you find me a job?

Northern Lights is like an employment agency in that we help people get jobs. Our work, however, focuses on helping people learn how to get their own jobs. We do this through services such as transferable skills analysis, resume development, job search techniques training, interview practice, and help understanding labour market information. We provide services on behalf of the government, other sponsoring organizations, and on a fee-for-service basis.

What is the story behind the name Northern Lights Canada?

Northern Lights Canada was named after the Aurora Borealis. In 1985 our founder, Val Lougheed, envisioned a company that would remain nimble and always be able to reflect and respond to whatever needs people might have. She wanted a name that conveyed something that is always moving, shifting, and changing, and the Northern Lights did this perfectly.
